As an edible flower business, food safety is integral to our operations. We are committed to:

  • Growing and sourcing flowers intended specifically for human consumption.

  • Preventing contamination from chemicals, pests, allergens, and foreign materials.

  • Following appropriate food hygiene and handling procedures.

  • Ensuring all products are accurately labelled and supplied in accordance with applicable food regulations.

Important Information About Eating Edible Flowers

Our veganically grown edible flowers and herbs are cultivated specifically for culinary use. While our flowers do not contain any of the 14 major allergens identified under UK and EU food law, some varieties belong to plant families that are known to cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.

We do not recommend consuming edible flowers if you have severe pollen allergies, known plant allergies, or a history of allergic reactions to flowers, herbs, or related plant species. If you are unsure whether a particular flower is suitable for you, please seek medical advice before consumption.

Please note that our pressed/dried flowers, particularly the stems, can be brittle, fibrous, and tough in texture. We compare our pressed/dried flowers for cake decorating to gumpaste sugar flowers—both are decorative creations that are technically edible, although they may not be particularly enjoyable to eat. For this reason, many customers choose to remove pressed/dried flowers and stems before serving.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have a medical condition, are taking medication, or have any concerns about consuming edible flowers, we recommend consulting your physician or qualified healthcare professional before use.

By purchasing and consuming our products, you acknowledge that individual sensitivities may vary and that it is your responsibility to determine whether edible flowers are appropriate for your dietary needs.
